Project developed in Karstula, Finland. Research about traditional ways to produce conductive threads and fabrics, based in local and grassrooted technologies and material resources. The goal is promote a connection among traditional textile technologies and new electronic and digital possibilities, but rooted in local needs and interests.
Visit to Ka- mu, Karstula
was founded in 1982, specializing in contract manufacturing of custom engineering on metals. Ka- mu design and produce metal pieces for companies as Blingfactory's Moto Sky
Making the pieces generate many chips of various metals and in different textures.
So I took some samples for testing on my conductive textiles
